Roosenhorst (5 hectares) is located in the Duivencorridor along the Veurseweg in Voorschoten. The municipality aims transformation of the greenhouse area to the grandeur of the former landscape with estates. The estate is accessible from the Veurseweg with a large driveway. This entry opens onto a cultivated public yard, behind a stately main building of three layers with two penthouses under the hood. To the left of the main house lies an orchard bordered by orangeries and coach houses inspired buildings. To the right of the main building is a utility garden enclosed with farmhouses, barns and boathouses inspired buildings. The decor and building are so arranged that characteristic vistas arise from the Veurseweg. Next to public gardens and orchards, there is a public field with moorings for pleasure craft. The plan provides space for 45 ground-level houses and 10 apartments.
