The idea of the landscape of this secondary school was inspirated by the different school studies of this college, like knowledge about plants, and animals, how to become a farmer and how to become a florist. Based on these school’s studies a fence is designed that frames the college and the plants is used as an inspiration for the design of the path system and the surrounding. The pattern of the landscape, like a fresh sprout, grows around the buildings and generates with its leaves special features of water, lawn and hard surfaces. This is combined with a materialization which has a hard surface in the central part of the area and a soft surface at the sides. In the central area there’s the logistic space to practice riding the tractor and spend time during the break. On the east side there’s the planting area with all types of flowers, some climbers and some vegetables. Next to the entrance of the college there’s a glass house with tropical plants, in the south part we located the areas reserved for the animals like the horse paddock, a grass garden with a big birdcage and on the east side the parking lots are framed by a variety of hedges.
