The concept of the blue garden is based on the Provence fields. The design combines the large scale of the Lavender fields and its atmosphere with a smaller scale of borders of blue flowers. To combine these two scales, the blue flowers are placed in granite and elevated planters. The planters provide a seating element next to the small lines of flowers. The planters gradually disappear where the flower lines transform in lavender fields. In addition there are big water features which have blue water plants. Some olive trees give a Mediterranean touch and provide shadow around the Tea house where blue chairs are located.
