Along the Parkribbon in Badhoevedorp, local residents have chosen a free-run arena out of three proposals. LOOS van VLIET, in consultation with free-run school 'Munki Motion', designed a place that focuses on 'strength and tricks'. The free-run arena is located in one of the green areas along the Park Ribbon. In addition to the utilitarian function, perennials and flowering shrubs will be planted to promote biodiversity. The main pillar of the object holds a bee hotel. The free-run object is made of prefabricated elements. The ground level, which will be made of asphalt, will feature a beautiful interplay of lines, adding to the possible routes and at the same time recalling the A9 that used to run through the area. Furthermore, the ping-pong table that already existed will be reused and one of the cypress trees that is currently located in the Zeemanlaan will be replanted in this area.
