Lineair Park Blaricummermeent under construction

The Lineair Park Blaricummermeent is currently under construction. The 3 km long park meanders through the new residential area along the recently digged river ‘de Meenstroom’. The main pathway is winding through planting areas of grasses, perennials and flowering meadows. Perennials are selected accordingly to the colour scheme. Along the river course plantings will change like a colourful jawbreaker: from white to yellow and on to orange, red, pink and blue. About 60.000 perennials will be planted coming weeks. In the park there is a special picking garden designed where inhabitants can collect their own bouquet of flowers. Planters are marked with steel liners and are rather narrow so that flowers can be picked directly from the path. 17-10-2016
