Design of Expo Valley presented in Xianyang

Expo Valley in Xianyang combines a park landscape of 1,5 km2 with an expo/congress area of 200.000 m2 and 170.000 m2 of hotel, office and commercial program. Xianyang is blessed with a rich history of which witnesses are the many grave hills from among others the Qin Dynasty. Inspired by the theme of grave hills, LvV designed a utility park with an organic structure of hills. Every hill hides a special place like amphitheater, light art or a fog pond. The most spectacular one is the parking lot with 12.000 parking spaces. The hilly landscape extends itself to the expo and congress area. In collaboration with Goldsmith Company. 31-10-2017
