The Parklint is presented to the residents of Badhoevedorp

LOOSvanVLIET made a Sketch design for the Parklint, a park with a length of 3.2 kilometres, which runs through the centre of Badhoevedorp. The park will be on the location of the former A9. The motorway was recently led around Badhoevedorp, leaving room for a green and connecting route in Badhoevedorp. The Parklint is intended for slow traffic, a shared space for pedestrians and cyclists. Next to the path, the park will have a park-like appearance with many different species of trees. The trees will be placed informally in the park. The different flowering periods of the trees will give the park a new look every season. The Park ribbon also contains a water connection with nature-friendly banks. In the centre, the Park ribbon transforms into a more urban space, where quays and seating steps along the water are proposed. Commissioned by the Municipality of Haarlemmermeer
