Polish Toruń, birthplace of Copernicus breathes 800 years of history. The design for the Philadelphia Boulevard is subservient to the historical stature of the city with its beautiful city wall with gates. It designs cleans the current riverside and creates unity and tranquility with a gradual transformation and integration of paths, stairs, quays, furniture , fixtures and vegetation. The differences in height are used for accommodating bars and restaurants so unhindered view remains between the city and river. In front of the gates square shaped spaces are situated. The quay is themed into three zones. This is a sport and play area in the west, a cultural zone including a floating theater in the middle and a more nature -oriented part in the east. The design has been nominated for the second round.
