Kerckebosch is an area in transition, located in the eastern part of Zeist. In "Hei & Jij" the experience of the moor is essential. Therefore, the characteristic of the existing environment is continued in an additional moorland between the houses. In this scenery four rows with a total of 26 properties are positioned in a way, continuity of the heath is experienced. Parking is therefore placed under small juniper rimmed parking pockets. To make the meeting between occupancy and heather as intensely as possible, high pines in the backyards are kept and porches with the entrances of the houses are proposed on a moorland path. From the house you will walk directly into the moor. Pines and native shrubs are used for the transition of the back gardens and the surrounding countryside. ‘Hei & Ji’j is a development of BPD.
