Roofterrace, Baarn

In “royal” Baarn we proposed a communal roof terrace for the residents of a big housing block. The concept of the design took inspiration from the trimmed hedges of the garden of palace ‘T Loo, but placed and shaped in a contemporary design with a flower pattern which is also visible in the design of the fence in one part of the roof terrace. The hedges are evergreens with different colors of green and some touch of color in spring, by the different colors of the flowers of the Rhododendrons. Benches are spread around and following the shape of the hedges. In the design private wooden decks are designed where the owners can have privacy.
